Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics for Numerical Solution of Filtration Problems

Abstract

The article is dedicated to the solution of the problems of water, gas and oil mixture filtration in homogeneous porous medium. The basic equations of the filtration theory are transformed into a special type for numerical approximation by the smoothed particle hydrodynamics. The numerical difference scheme is constructed based on the smoothed particle hydrodynamics. The algorithm of setting boundary conditions is proposed and isothermal one-dimensional and two-dimensional test numerical calculations of the process of water, gas and oil mixture filtration are given.
