Abstract

Renal cysts, which are very common in human kidneys, can cause hypertension, kidney failure and dysfunction of the kidneys. In this study, kidney cyst segmentation was performed using filtering techniques. Otsu threshholding, Gaussian, Unsharp, Bilateral, Total Variation, Median and Basin Algorithm were used. CT abdominal images were used and images were taken from the GE Brand BrightSpeed device.
